I look at the photo of the bassinette that has
been the first home to many of the babies of our family.
For my mother and her younger sister this was
new, white with satin and lace.
It was the beginning in 1929 for my mother -
she had 4 children,
one a little boy named Neil who never saw the light of day but went to see
Jesus the night before he was to be born, and for 8 grandchildren and and now 4
great grand children.
The newest, a precious little girl, full of
grace and soon to be giving love and showing grace to all she meets, she is the
link to life for her family, the father who never met his dad leaving places of
emptiness and what ifs and why’s….
and the wife whose father used her almost to
destruction until she met the man who could fill her dreams with hope and her
nights with love and cover the pain with hope and new life…
Now
this precious babe will bring change to all she meets along the journey her
life takes he on. Willow bringing movement and peace, flowing with what life
brings her way, Grace everlasting, promise fulfilled.
